Siemens inked two memoranda of understanding (MoU) with state-run power giant NTPC and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for decarbonisation.
The company has signed MoU with NTPC for reducing the industrial and commercial carbon footprint and bringing down the dependence on hydrocarbons in India, Siemens said in a statement.
According to statement the other MoU with TERI is for enabling energy transitions across the electricity, transport and industrial sectors
It said that the collaboration (with NTPC) is aimed at developing innovative technologies, solutions and techniques to reduce the dependence on Hydrocarbons in India.
Siemens Limited signed a separate MoU with TERI for collaboration on technologies to support the energy transition in India including sector-coupling.
