The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has rescheduled the bid submission deadline for 1.2 GW of wind-solar hybrid projects under Tranche III of the interstate transmission (ISTS) program.
Earlier the deadline was 25 February 2020 , now the extended deadline for hybrid project has been set for 15 May, 2020.
Successful bidders will set up wind-solar hybrid power project on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis and sell the hybrid power to SECI.
As per the request for selection (RfS) document interested bidders have to pay an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹500,000 (~$7,054)/MW in the form of a performance bank guarantee (PBG) along with the response to the RfS.
