Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited (REEL) with BIG FM kicks off this year’s Ganesh festivities with the announcement of the 13th edition of Ramky BIG Green Ganesha.
With each passing year, the eco-friendly brainchild of the network has always reinforced the absolute necessity for environment conservation and sustainability. Gaining immense popularity since the time it laid its foundation in 2008, the campaign this year, will be spearheaded which undoubtedly will entice listeners across the festivities.
‘Ramky BIG Green Ganesha’ is a heartfelt initiative that promotes the use of eco-friendly Ganesh idols & its celebration with minimum environmental damage. Garnering an unprecedented response, the radio station urged people to adopt usage of clay idols / seed Ganeshas with the listeners who opted for Green Ganesha being termed as Green Heroes in Hyderabad.
In order to make a conscious effort of keeping the environment clean, this year, BIG FM & Ramky team are distributing Clay Ganesha idols with a seed in each one of it.
These Ganesha idols are packaged in a bio-degradable Coconut Pit. These idols are distributed across various Gated Communities across Hyderabad.
People can perform immersion at their home, in a flower pot, after performing pooja during Ganapathi Navratri. The organizations in a statement said “We will have a canter going around town from 13th August, 2020 till 22nd August 2020.We have prominent celebs from Tollywood & TV industry such as Sri Tanikella Bharani, Gopichand, Priyamani, Kartikeya, Sudheer Babu, Eesha Rebba, Bhanuchander and many more who are promoting / endorsing the cause on 92.7 Big FM and digital media.
