e-Ashwa Automobile inaugurates its first multi-brand EV dealership stores in Old Goa, Goa.
The company in a statement said that it has been launching average 100-120 EV dealership stores every month over the last 3 months especially post-pandemic as the demand for eco-friendly and affordable mobility solutions has significantly increased.
With this, e-Ashwa has undertaken rapid EV retail expansion in the country with more than 590 total dealership networks across the country, of this over 550 dealerships were added post-Covid lockdown in 2020.
Established in 2018, e-Ashwa Automotive has expanded its business into multiple categories within electric vehicles and now sells a wide range of vehicles in both electric 2-wheelers and electric 3-wheelers segments.
From e-scooters, e-rickshaw, e-auto to e-loaders, the company has been steadily growing and catering to the changing market needs.
E-Ashwa has emerged as one of India’s most sought-after EV brands with over good market share in electric 2-wheelers and electric 3-wheelers segments respectively. It has added significant growth in B2C segment post Covid pandemic due to consumer preference towards personal mobility over public transport.
Speaking on e-Ashwa’s entry into Goa market, Vikas Gupta, CEO, e-Ashwa Automotive, said, “We are delighted to launch our first EV dealership store in Goa and hope that we have significant presence in the state in the next 2-3 years with sizable dealership network. According to a report by Research and Markets organization on ‘Industry Analysis and Growth Forecast to 2025 for India Electric Scooter and Motorcycle Market Research Report’ the sales of electric scooters and motorcycles are booming in India due to the rising pollution and the increasing provision of financial incentive es provided by the government.
e-Ashwa Automotive started its manufacturing facility in June 2019 and launched its first dealership store in August 2019. It has assembly units in all 19 states to support the local dealers to fast track and fulfill customer demand in a short span of time.
