EDF Renewables UK has partnered with Octo Energy to identify and deliver 200 megawatts of hybrid solar and battery storage projects in England and Wales, the firm said on Monday.
The move comes as EDF Group plans to double its installed renewable energy capacity from to 50 gigawatts (GW) to 28 GW by 2030.
Octo Energy will seek out opportunities for EDF on dual-use sites, working with landowners and farmers who are looking to diversify into energy, EDF Renewables UK said.
