Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday flagged off electric vehicles and Exicom Tele-Systems Limited AC and DC Fast EV Chargers and handed over to Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) Officials.
Exicom installed AC & DC EV chargers at Car Parking Facility of Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium. It is part of the plan to develop EV charging points across the country.
Exicom in a statement said “the company is committed to realize the vision of making India a 100% Electric Vehicles nation and aims to support Government’s mission of shifting 30% of country’s fleet to electric mode by 2030.”
Last month the company announced that it has partnered with Pune-based Kinetic Group’s company Kinetic Green for supplying advance lithium-ion batteries for applications in electric rickshaw.
The company claimed it’s lithium-ion batteries provide many benefits including high energy density, which reduces weight that leads to higher mileage between charges, fast charging time of two-hour, a longer lifecycle of more than 1,500, lower self-discharge, higher efficiency which enables around 25 percent low charging cost, zero maintenance, no requirement for water top-up and option of two cycles per day among many others. The company also claimed it is one of the largest supplier in India with deployment of more than 650MWhr.
